Our Unity Center is pleased to bring you Sunday Talks Online by streaming audio!  Enjoy Rev. Chad O'Shea's Sunday talks at your convenience!

You will need to have the appropriate (free) software installed on your computer (many already have it installed)... any MP3 player (Windows: WinAmp, iTunes, Zinfor, Windows Media Player)(MAC: Audion, iTunes) (Linux: XMMS, Zinf)... or Real Audio for the early dates.  Then you can simply click on the title of the service you'd like to hear.

Streaming version 

Click on the title of the service you'd like to hear from this column, and your computer should launch the player and start streaming the file (the file will not be saved to your hard drive.) 

• Netscape or Firefox: the file will stream and play in your default mp3 software (it will not be saved).

• MSInternet Explorer: a window may open for you to choose to "Play" or "Save" the file... then again, it might not.  (Consider switching to Netscape or Firefox - for safer, faster browsing!)

• RealAudio files in this column  will launch the RealPlayer and start to play right away.

• Netscape or Firefox: mp3 files will start to play immediately. 
• To SAVE the file for later, Right-Click the link and choose "Save Link Target As"
• MSInternet Explorer: mp3 files will take a while to download, and eventually start to play. It looks like nothing's happening, so it's better to Right-Click and choose "Open in New Window" so you can see progress.
• RealAudio files in this column will download completely before they start to play.

The streaming audio files are downloading into your computer while you're listening to them at the same time (instead of having to wait for the whole BIG file to finish downloading before you can hear any of it.)

The problem is that a slow connection doesn't feed the file to your computer as fast as it can play the file. So try to let the downloading get a "head start" before you start listening.  

Try this: When the player first opens, press the "Stop" button on the player, and let the computer download some of the file before you start listening to it.
