3. I did NOT attend other concerts because (check all that apply):

Schedule: Conflict with another event in my life/Out of town
Cost: My budget didn't allow it.
Just too busy.
Other concerts didn't appeal to my musical tastes.
Too far/Can't drive at night.
Just don't like to attend concerts.
Other reason/Comment:

4. Artists/Concerts from previous years: I'd like to see these (or someone like them) again:

David Roth (folk, acoustic)
Brazilian Concert (sax & guitar)
Guitars A Quattro (4 classical guitars)
42nd Street Band (jazz standards)
Marienne Kreitlow (new age/pop songwriter)
Spiral Rhythms (voice & drums)
Norma Gentile (sound healing)
Bonfield & Ebel (electric violin & guitar)

5. New Artists/Concerts we are considering: I'd attend a concert by:

Leroy White (percussion, vocals)
Richard Shulman (new age or jazz keyboard)
Chris Rosser & friends (singer/songwriter)
Phil Urban (Elvis impersonator)
Tuxedo Junction (variety of dance music)
Bremen Clarinet Quartet (classical)
A celtic music group
A bluegrass group

6. My suggestions for artists/groups I'd like to hear at Unity:

7. My favorite styles of music include:

Blues
Celtic
Choral
Classical: guitar
Classical: piano
Classical: vocal: opera/art songs
Classical: other instruments
Country
Jazz
Latin / Salsa
Folk/Acoustic
Rock & Roll
Singer/Songwriter
Anything I can Dance to!
Something unusual & different
Other:

7. I prefer to attend on Concerts on:

Friday evening
Saturday evening
Sunday afternoon

8. Cabaret seating (chairs around tables) requires much more set-up and does not allow for as much attendance. Theatre style seating (rows of chairs) is easier, but creates a different ambience.

Cabaret seating is great!  It's worth the extra effort to me.
I have no preference one way or the other.
I don't like cabaret seating.  I prefer to sit in rows, theater style.

9. Ticket Price: We charge less for concerts than most places, and provide free childcare (and free admission to children under 18 to most concerts.)  But when attendance is low, there's not a whole lot for the artists or for Unity.  Do you think:

Ticket prices should remain the same:  $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
Ticket prices should go down... they're too high for me now.
I would support a small increase in ticket prices to $12 in advance, $14 at the door.
Any Comments about ticket prices:

10. Other comments / suggestions about the Unity Concert Series:

11. Volunteers:
  • Concerts depend on volunteers to help with set-up, sell tickets, make phone calls, clean-up, etc.  Would you be willing to help at one (or more) of our Concerts next year? Click to email Lyte.
  • Each concert has a Concert Chair for THAT concert only. Would you be willing to be a Concert Chair for one (or more) of our concerts?  What month or what concert? Click to email Lyte.
