An "mmm, mmm, good" collection of favorite recipes,
from the earthly to the sublime...
reflecting our divine diversity and eclectic oneness.
Our Unity church family is a very diverse group of people, and this cookbook certainly reflects it! These are favorite recipes submitted by our members, and they range from Vegetarian to country-style Ribs, from Tofu Pancakes to Peanut Butter Fudge, from Caribbean Shrimp to Irish Coffee!

Ethnic groups represented include German, Russian, Irish, Italian, Greek, Mexican, and Swedish... and of course, good old Southern cooking from the mountains of our beloved western North Carolina.

Many recipes include personal notes and/or tips, and the name of the church member who submitted it. One of our members is a cook on a riverboat in the South; another cooked on a charter sailing vessel in the Virgin Islands. Each of us picked out some of our very favorite recipes to share... even to pass along as a legacy.

One unique recipe is for a Bible Cake - the ingredients are listed as chapters and verses in the Bible, such as "1/2 pound of Judges, Chapter V, Verse 25"! Our YE Coordinator found it on a typed sheet tucked into her grandmother's Bible.
